East Java Food Price List Today: Sugar, Chili, and Chicken Prices Increase (Friday, March 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (1/3/2024) at 10:16 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, medium rice, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (2.41%) to Rp12,300 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,530 (6.21%) to Rp53,280 per kg.
