Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (29/6/2024) at 08.38 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, shallots, dry soybean (import), medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp3,840 (9.84%) to Rp42,860 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of simple packaged cooking oil fell the most sharply, by Rp1,180 (7.02%) to Rp15,620 per liter.

9. Milkfish: Rp27,930 per kg (up 0.54%)
