Jambi Region Food Prices Tuesday (April 15th): Prices of cooking oil, chicken, and chili peppers increase.

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (15/4/2025) at 11:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, milkfish, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, Minyakita, garlic bulbs, curly red chilies, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp903 (3.09%) to Rp30,125 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the steepest price drop, decreasing Rp3,165 (5.21%) to Rp57,629 per kg.
