Lampung Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Sunday, December 31, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (31/12/2023) at 11:43 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, pure beef, medium-grain rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp4,800 (8.58%), reaching Rp60,770 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,180 (5.02%), reaching Rp22,340 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,950 per kg (up 0.5%)
